“ Vicki, I would go for either a Vespa, Yamaha or Honda. These scoots will run forever. I bought a 1983 Yamaha XC180 three seasons ago. I've only had to change the oil, bat, tires and spark. I would stay away from chinese brands. While they save you $$ up front, I think you may see some maintenance issues a few years down the road. You can save loads buying used, but make sure to go over the bike thoroughly before buying. I've put 8K miles on mine and it has paid for itself. ”
